Introduction to Minitab 18 for Data Analysis

This 2 day class is a hands on look at using Minitab 18 for Data Analysis.  This class includes basic data analysis using analytical and graphical methods, Measurement System Analysis, Control Charting for Variable and Attribute Data, and Process Capability Analysis.  A laptop computer is required.  Students should bring a laptop computer with Minitab loaded.   A trial may be downloaded from Minitab at the beginning of the class if necessary.

Who should attend: Anyone who needs to use Minitab to collect and analysis product and process data.   No prior knowledge of Minitab is required.  This class is also an excellent refresher for basic Minitab use for individuals who haven’t worked with Minitab recently.

An Introduction to Basic Dimensional Measurement

Wednesday and Thursday, February 20 and 21, 2019

This is a hands on class in basic precision measurement using instruments commonly used in manufacturing, inspection, machine shops and other industries.  The class covers basic measurement concepts, calibration practices, measurement using, steel rules, calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, dial indicators and height gauges.  Students learn proper use and care of precision measuring equipment.  Measurements will be taken in both English and Metric units using digital and analog instruments.

Who should attend:  This class is designed for those who are new to manufacturing and need to learn measurement skills for their job.  This class is also an excellent refresher for measurement skills or to learn instruments that are currently not familiar to the student.
